  • Internships are a big part of what make Kennesaw State students and graduates sought after by so many employers. Our Department of Career Planning and Development Career Services staff is dedicated to getting you prepared for your career and have the resources to help you participate in experiential learning programs, to gain practical expertise, problem-solving, communication and global skills. The numbers speak for themselves: According to recent statistics provided by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, more than 56 percent of students completing an internship or co-op received at least one job offer, compared to less than 37 percent of students with no internship or co-op experience.  Also more than half of all interns receive a full-time job offer from their internship employer. If you’re looking for practical, real-world learning that leads you straight to a great career, KSU is the place.

  • The Department of Career Planning and Development offers two full-service centers (on the Marietta and Kennesaw campuses) to prepare students for their future careers. With over 20 full-time staff members, we help students create effective resumes, practice strategic interviewing skills, and gain critical experiences (such as internships and co-ops) relevant to their academic majors. We also connect students directly with local, national, and international employers through our online job board, weekly events, and more than eight career fairs throughout the year. All KSU students are encouraged to connect with us early and often, and throughout their career. Services are offered to KSU alumni for life! For more information, please visit the Career Planning and Development website.
